# Lord of Miracles in Piura — Purple Month

The purple month is celebrated in the city of Piura with Masses, triduums and processions of the Lord of Miracles image, which leaves from the San Miguel Arcángel Basilica Cathedral. The image is venerated at the Carmelite Mothers' monastery and processions run through November 1, alongside the triduum to the Virgin of the Cloud.

La devoción al Señor de los Milagros se vive intensamente en la ciudad de Piura. La imagen es venerada en el monasterio de las Madres Carmelitas y cada octubre recorre las calles céntricas en solemne procesión, con celebración eucarística y procesión por el día del Señor de los Milagros el 28 de octubre, triduo a la Virgen de la Nube (29–31) y última procesión el 1 de noviembre.
