About this place
The Tumbes Ceviche Festival celebrates the most representative dish of the Peruvian coast. During the event, local cevicherías compete for the title of best ceviche, and attendees can taste fish, black clam and mixed seafood versions.
It is held every year in late July in the Puerto Pizarro resort, during the Peruvian national holidays, with the black clam as its star product.
