El Manglar Oficial

El Manglar is an emblematic cevichería in Los Órganos, run by the Domínguez family, which reopened in a renovated venue in the Miraflores Sur neighborhood, two blocks from the main square and with views toward Puerto Velero. Its menu focuses on fresh local fish and seafood: the black clam ceviche is highly praised by travelers, along with picante de langostinos (spicy shrimp), shrimp chicharrón with garlic sauce, black clam rice and mixed jalea; daily menus and à la carte dishes are also available. Diners recommend it as one of the best places to eat between Máncora and Los Órganos, ranking it among the top restaurants in town. Service is family-run (Abel and his family are frequently mentioned), Visa cards are accepted, and it is a common stop after whale-watching tours departing from the Los Órganos pier. Open roughly 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Note: do not confuse it with the nearby "El Manglar de Rosa", a different restaurant.
